CORONAVIRUS CRISIS AS A REASON FOR APPLYING THE METHOD OF REENGINEERING OF BUSINESS PROCESSES IN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

The article examines the impact of the coronavirus crisis, which has become a challenge for individual enterprises and for the entire economic system of Ukraine. The country's economy was not ready for such unexpected and lengthy quarantine restrictions that were imposed in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the government has the ability to support business, only partially and for a short time, during the largest quarantines. It has been establish that the coronavirus crisis has left its mark on the activities of all sectors of the economy, in particular in the activities of the agro-industrial complex. Irrespective of the impact of the crisis, large agricultural holdings were able to get some benefits from this market situation, since the government lost many tools of influence on the economy at this time. However, small and medium-sized farmers suffered significant damage, and when was closed food markets, they generally lost the marketplaces, could not sell their products. Unfortunately, the state was unable to provide them required support and protection. Therefore, we believe that agricultural producers in these conditions should apply the reengineering method. It has been proven that this method will allow them to develop matrices for assessing existing business processes and will allow them to be reorganized. The article gives recommendations to agricultural enterprises on the application of this method, namely, for what purpose is the reengineering of business processes and what tasks it should set for the enterprise. The purpose of the study is to inform agribusiness about their own opportunities. In article described the relationship between the processes and factors affecting the activities of enterprises and the importance of each business process. The description of the study notes the importance of modern innovations that can help farmers use available resources more efficiently. Attention is focused on assessing business processes in currently conditions, taking into account new factors of influence, market requirements, changes in legislation, the position of existing and potential competitors, the quality and benefits of cooperation with suppliers, enterprise's position in the market, its potential. We believe that research and monitoring of market needs will provide agribusiness with important information for making managerial decisions and qualitatively applying the reengineering method, in turn, it will systematize all processes, resources, data, and turn weak processes into strong ones.
