COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF METHODS OF PURPOSE DISTRIBUTION OF ARTILLERY UNITS OF TROOPS GROUPING

The world practice of military conflicts, as well as the analysis of the use of missile forces and artillery in the operation of the combined forces and the counter-terrorist operation in the country, clearly demonstrate that the share of artillery units in the total amount of fulfilled fire tasks continues to grow. The formation of artillery units, which are combined into unified information network with electronic means of artillery intelligence, serve as counterattack control and acquire the status of an element of operative construction of an operational grouping. Different types of target distribution of the artillery units (centralized, decentralized, mixed and parallel) are considered in the article. Calculated expressions are given for mathematical expectations of the number of affected targets using each of the types of target distribution and the total indicator - the average number of affected targets in the transition from one control method to another, both in the case of a reliable detection of the military targets, and in the uncertainty of the probability of identifying the military target.
