Abstract
Military factors are suggested as a determining factor in the development of the military situation in the East of Ukraine in 2014-2015. It is concluded that the only option for the peaceful settlement of the armed confrontation between the conflict parties in the format of the Minsk Agreement of 12 February 2015.
