Abstract
Reasons for the discrepancies of the author's approach to the categories, which characterize the basic features of personnel, were studied. Methodological basis for determining the morale of the personnel as a component of a human factor of military units was explored. Mathematical human factor evaluation apparatus, as well as classification and interpretation of obtained results were developed.
