The article analyzes the trends caused by the rapid transition of the world educational system to the total use of the online format in education, caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic triggered the transition from traditional forms of education to distance education based on modern digital resources. Over the years of its existence in the context of a pandemic, the entire market of educational services in the world has significantly transformed, but especially the online education market, which has a significant impact on its Rus- sian segment.
