Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the effect of turbine materials on a Quiet revolution wind turbine and find out which material is suitable to generate power through Quiet revolution wind turbine in between carbon fibre, Structural steel, Aluminium Alloy and perform various analysis such as static structural analysis, modal analysis etc. to find out which of these materials is better in terms of structure, overall strength and more economical alongside provides better power and efficiency. We have chosen Quiet revolution wind turbine because it is a vertical Axis wind turbine developed by altering it to have helical blades/foils, from Darriieus wind turbine and is very straightforward for use in urban locations, on the on-building roofs or ground, the design of proper VAWT will create new avenues for large-scale implementation of these machines. The major goal of this study is to develop and model a small-scale VAWT, this wind turbine will make wind energy more common which currently is mostly only utilized in wind farms.
