INFLUENCE OF FUZZY THRESHOLD IN FUZZY REGRESSION ALGORITHM ON THE STRUCTURAL RELIABILITY

The fuzzy set theory has been increasingly applied to technical problems in general and construction industry in particular for many years. To evaluate the reliability of a certain structure, it is necessary to define the set of working status and the set of the structure's ability as a basis for comparison and evaluation. In this paper, the authors present two problems. The first we present a regression analysis algorithm in case the observed input variables are fuzzy numbers, next we propose a fomular of reliability assessment of structures based on fuzzy theory. Thereby applying regression algorithms with fuzzy parameters to determine dependent variables as working status set and fuzzy standard set from fuzzy input parameters are the basis for determining the reliability of the structure with different fuzzy levels of the input variable.
