Abstract
In a recent era, cost of the construction material is tremendously enhanced as raw material cost is increased. While manufacturing the cement carbon dioxide is generated which having depraved impact on the environment. So, it is essential to add ancient eco-friendly, economical admixture such as jaggery and sugar which can enhance the binding property of concrete. The review report emphasizes that by using locally available materials such as jaggery, and Sugar can improve concrete structures. Jaggery is added to the concrete at a percentage of 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 due to which the structural improvements in the concrete. The optimum slump value is obtained at 0.75% of jaggery which is 210mm. The ideal compaction factor value achieved is at 0.75% which is equal to 0.95%. The maximum compression strength of the concrete was obtained after adding 0.75% jaggery to 43.95 N / mm2
