Abstract
The poster summarizes an integrative design of an approach for third party intervention in ethnic conflicts that aims at sustaining a long term peace. Based on the legacy of third parties roles in the post-cold war era, and the assumption that modern and post-modern approaches may provide us with a contingency and complementary insights rather than exclusive or incompatible recommendations. It tries to integrate different approaches - either structural or post-structural - to get a comprehensive view of any static aspect of the problem in focus. It is assumed to be interactive by taking into account the learning dimensions and practical requirements as "ad hoc packages". It is dynamic, the difference in "packages" of strategies designed for each particular conflict depends on the phase the conflict has already reached. A comprehensive approach must address the issues that raise from difference in time and space.
