Improving the Quality of Working Life for Leaders of Public Education Schools in Hail, Saudi Arabia: A Futurism Study

Abstract
The current research seeks to achieve a number of goals, the most important of which is exploring the intellectual grounds for the quality of work life, identifying the gaps not achieved by leaders of public education schools in the Kingdom, and reaching a set of results and recommendations, in addition to developing three proposed scenarios to improve the quality of work life of these leaders.
The researcher used the descriptive approach, in addition to the use of the scenarios method, which is considered one of the future methods that help to put forward a set of alternatives expected in the future from the current situation to the desired future state of educational institutions, and the research reached a set of results, which is that the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 helps to achieve the quality of work life among school leaders, and that one of the most important reasons for the poor quality of work life among school leaders is their adherence to the professional implementation of decisions and instructions issued to them, which reflects the weakness of their professional preparation, and that the provision of work life quality dimensions, whether related to the organizational aspect or all occupational or psychological and social levels help to achieve the desired quality of work life of the leaders of education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and three possible scenarios have been developed, the first describing the current situation and the second, which is the reform scenario that seeks to achieve part of the Kingdom's vision 2030, and the third scenario, which is the innovative scenario, which is the desired future scenario that achieves all aspects of the quality of work life for female leaders. A public education student in the Kingdom, and in light of the scenarios and results, the research reached a set of recommendations, most notably the need to change the conditions for selecting leaders of education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the need to pay attention to training programs for school leaders, whether pre-service or in-service, in order to provide them with the necessary skills to complete the work and tasks assigned to them. This is reflected in the improvement of their job satisfaction.
