Directions of increasing efficiency of wood usage in the forest industry of the Komi Republic

He given paper presents the direction of increasing the resource efficiency of the forest industry of the Komi Republic. It is determined that the growth of the resource efficiency of the forest industry is caused by the production of high value-added products, the most complete use of production waste and the recycling of wood products. The analysis of resource efficiency revealed the decoupling effect: an 1.7 times increase in resource performance and a 1.4 times decrease in resource intensity. The results of the research are of practical importance for managing the development of the efficiency of wood use in the forest complex of the region and the country as a whole.
