Abstract
In this study , we propose the designing of special double sampling plan for truncated life tests using percentiles under the assumption that the life time of the product follows Marshall-Olkin
extended exponential distribution . The minimum sample sizes for the first and second samples are determined for the specified consumer’s confidence level with minimum average sample number. The operating characteristics are analysed and the minimum percentile ratios of life time are obtained so as to meet the specified producer’s risk. The efficiency of special double sampling plan is analysed with zero-one double sampling
