Abstract
Given the high cost, health, and environmental dangers associated
with currently available synthetic pesticides, finding and developing economical, safe, and effective alternatives is critical. The goal of this research is to develop an organic mosquito repellent that will assist to reduce the number of mosquitos in the environment. The experiment lasted a total of 24 hours. Each treatment included three replicates with six larvae grouped in Parallel Group Design, and each treatment had varied doses of Madre de Cacao leaf extract, guava leaf extract, and natural vinegar. The level of efficiency of Madre de Cacao leaves extract, Guava leaves extract, and natural vinegar as a larvicide was determined using the Mean. At the 0.05 level of significance, the One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was performed to assess the significant difference in the degree of efficacy of Madre de Cacao leaf extract, guava leaf extract, and natural vinegar at various doses.
