Abstract
Cyber security has become important security paradigms of the 21st century. It is a non - traditional security issue that has come into the limelight, fostering states to strengthen it. In today?s world data has become indispensable; every actor from state to non - state wants data for various purposes, as Clive Humbly proposed that data has become the new oil. As India is moving towards a digital platform and the challenges are enormous emerging from the implementation of digital India. India?s cyber infrastructure is not well equipped with advance detection and anti - malware system. With the introduction of digital India, digital economy has started gaining preference, people have moved their transaction on digital mode, to which many cyber criminals have taken the chance to dupe people through various strategies.
