Abstract
The subject of this study is the financial plans of tourism enterprises that have not yet been realized and show the figures that they plan to estimate, in other words their budgets. The budget processes, budget types, the scenarios they base their budgets on and the reasons and results of budget deviations of the enterprises operating in tourism in Turkey are examined. According to the answers received from 400 Tourism Enterprises with a 27 question survey study, the effect on the financial performance of the enterprise was analyzed with tables and graphics. Finally, a case study of an exemplary Tourism Enterprise was selected and a budget application was made through this enterprise. As a result of the study, it has been seen that there is no budget related work in small tourism enterprises and there is no integrity between the units while making the budget.
