Case Report: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract
A female patient aged 48 years reported for check up of her plasma glucose because of non-healing wounds since an accident 2weeks ago. The result showed that her blood glucose during the examination was 560 mg/dl. Since 2017, the patient was already diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and at that time she experienced vomiting and was hospitalized Apparently her blood glucose level was 538 mg/dl when she had the similar checkup. The patient received treatment according to the national protocol on T2DM. Approximately 3 months after the treatment, the patient discontinued checking the plasma glucose and was no longer taking the medicine because she was influenced by information from her relatives who advised her to stop all allopathic medication, Patient is the third child of 5 siblings. The patient has been married for past 25 years and has two children, a 20-year-old female and a 17-year-old male. The patient currently lives with her husband and two children. Patient works as a clerk in private school and participate regularity in social and spiritual activities.
