Radioecological situation and health status of child population in Chernigov region

Abstract
The analysis of mean values of soil contamination density and mean values of milk contamination with radioactive cesium in 2001-2011; radioactive contamination of foodstuffs and raw materials in 2001-2010; results of area ranking by the levels and rates of total morbidity growth in children of 0-14 years in 10 districts of Chernigov region (5 radioactively contaminated and 5 relatively clean) during 2001-2010 has been conducted.
It is shown that the affected areas, in comparison with the control, have a worse situation in the levels and growth rates of the prevalence of diseases in child population.
