Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of π-complexes. The mechanism of complex formation and some theoretical aspects of the donor-acceptor interaction are considered. A method for determining the quantitative composition of π-complexes is presented. The formation of two new molecular orbitals during the formation of a π-complex is considered.
