Abstract
This article discusses the directions of formation of the pension fund of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to consider the concept of the direction of the formation of the FIU, its subjects, tasks and statistics of the main indicators. The definition of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation was given, the subjects and tasks were considered. The statistics of the main indicators of the FIU are analyzed.
