Abstract

The problem of childrens' fears is gaining special relevance, both scientifically and practically. Today, there is a trend towards an increase in the number of children with fears. The study of fears at different stages of childhood is important both for revealing the essence of this phenomenon, and for understanding the age patterns of the development of the emotional sphere of a person, the formation of emotional and personal formations. It is fears that underlie a number of psychological difficulties of childhood, including many developmental disorders that serve as a reason for contacting the psychological service. Without knowing the reasons for the emergence of fear, the mechanisms of its development, transformation, transformation into other states, it is often simply impossible to understand what is happening to the child, what are the true motives of his actions and, most importantly, how to help him. This article focuses on researching the fears of primary school children (grade 2). An experiment was carried out using two classical methods: "Fears in the houses" and anxiety test "TDA". With the help of these techniques, it was possible at the primary level to diagnose the possible causes and level of fears and anxiety in a group of schoolchildren who participated in the experiment. The article also contains the results of research and their analysis.
