Abstract
The effect of Solanum aethiopicum leaf extracts on, hepatic and renal function was studied. Twenty five wistar albino rats were divided into five groups of five rats each. Apart from the control group, the experimental groups were given compounded feed of ground Solanum aethiopicum leaf and normal pelletized rats feed. Results obtained for hepatic and renal function revealed significance effect p 0.05 on some of the parameters investigated in test rats against those of the control. This study has shown the effect of Solanum aethiopicum leaf extract on hepatic and renal function. Eze, H.
