EXAMINING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CLOUDLETS IN MOBILE COMPUTING

Mobile devices are becoming commonplace in people's daily lives, and mobile apps are becoming highly resource-intensive. Smart computers, on the other hand, have fewer resources. Through offloading processing and/or data from mobile devices to the cloud, mobile cloud computing solves the resource shortage issue of mobile devices. The cloudlet is a valuable complement to the client-cloud hierarchy as mobile networking and cloud computing become more integrated. This paper provides a comprehensive review of cloudlet-based mobile computing science. We begin by looking back at the development of cloudlet-based mobile computing. Following that, we go through the latest research on cloudlet-based computing and data offloading. After that, we'll go through two consumer cloudlet items. Finally, we address the present state of affairs, as well as the problems and potential directions in this area.
