Abstract
This paper introduces a number of techniques for detecting pneumonia in COVID19 from the images considered in CT, such as threshold screening, multi-thresholding, segmentation and field extraction. The phase of infection is then calculated using the pixel ratio of the infection/lung segment after extraction of the infected area. This Otsu threshold is then assumed to short the current CT of the patient and for acceptance, the pulmonologist will be provided with an image which has a greater value of the Otsu threshold. A visual examination of the CT will also be performed by the pulmonologist and the necessary care is initiated based on the results.
