Abstract
As large-scale distributed systems gain momentum, the scheduling of workflow applications with multiple requirements has become a crucial area of research. The study present a scheduling approach using Random Drift Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm (RDPSO). Specifically, the study performed via simulation the performance of a heterogeneous distributed system, where several soft real-time workflow applications comes dynamically. The results of simulation shows that the proposed RDPSO obtains improved scheduling with less computational cost than other existing models.
