Abstract
The battle for Moscow was the largest in the history of World War II. For 10-12 weeks, the Germans planned to take the capital, destroy the population or drive them to Germany. To prevent these plans from being realized, the Soviet people had to make enormous efforts. More than 7 million people took part in it. Moscow was defended from September 30, 1941 to April 20, 1942. It was near Moscow that Hitler suffered his first ma- jor defeat. Many books have been published today on the contribution of the Uzbek people to the victory over fascism, but it is no exaggeration to say that the subject of the bravery of arms of the Uzbeks in the defence of Moscow has not been studied scientifically. This scientific attempts to highlight the participation and courage of Uzbek people in the defense of Moscow
