Abstract

Casia absus Linn. Is a plant in the family Fabaceae is an erect or procumbet much branched annual or short lived perennial. Though this plant has a foreign origin, it is found throughout most of India. Commonly in open habitats and wastland, ascending up to 1500 meter in the himalayas.
