Abstract
As we very well know that an educational institution holds an important position in forming the future of its students, we cannot forget the importance of the most vital organ of the educational body, a teacher. Teacher training is essential in modern ways so as to impart relevant and genuine education to the pupils. The world is changing at a very high pace and in order to make the students aware of today's technological advancements it is necessary for the teacher to understand the present paradigm and implement new ways of teaching. Hence the author asserts that teacher education system must be empowered by ICT-driven infrastructure to ensure academic excellence.
