A STUDY ON EMOTIONAL MATURITY AMONG THE HEADS OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN KERALA

Abstract
This study tried to find out the extent and significant difference of Emotional Maturity among the Heads of Secondary schools in Kerala in terms of gender, age, experience and type of management of their school. The investigator approached 260 heads of the secondary schools throughout the Kerala to collect information regarding their Emotional Maturity. The study found that 74 percentages of the total sample exhibit average level of Emotional Maturity. Only 15 percentage of heads shows high level of Emotional Maturity while 11 percentage reveals poor Emotional Maturity level. The study also reveals that as age increases the emotional maturity level of the heads also increases while other subsample like, gender, experience and type of their management didn't shown any significance difference in their emotional maturity level.
