ACHIEVEMENT IN SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS OF SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN RELATION TO EXPOSURE TO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

The study was under taken to investigate the relationship between achievement in Science and Mathematics with exposure to information and communication technology. The study was conducted on 200 students studying in 10+1 class in Government schools of Ludhiana District of Punjab (India). Marks obtained by the students in Science and Mathematics in their matriculation examination were taken as achievement in Science and Mathematics. Questionnaire prepared by investigator was used to collect data of exposure to use of information and communication technology. Results of the study revealed significant positive relationship of achievement in Science and Mathematics with exposure to information and communication technology.
