LIFE SKILLS PROFILE IN RELATION TO MODE OF STUDY IN GRADUATION

Abstract
The research paper presents the study of Life Skills of B.Ed students (would be teachers), in relation to mode of study in graduation i.e. regular or private. Life skills profile includes Skill of Self-care, Non-turbulence, Social contact, Communication and Responsibility. This was descriptive type study. A sample of 200 B.Ed students was taken randomly and data was collected with help of Life skill profile (2006) by Rosen A, Pavlovic-Hadzi H. Parker G., Trauet. The data was analyzed for each dimension of life skills with help of mean, SD and t-ratio technique. The findings of the study are that mode of acquiring bachelor's degree does not matter in the overall development of life skills. Mode of acquiring bachelor's degree does not matter in the development life skills like Self care, Non-turbulence, Communication and Responsibility, but the pupil teachers who have studied from regular institute in their degree course have better skill of social contact than the pupil teachers who have studied by private mode in their degree course.
