THE CONTRIBUTION OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT IN RURAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The future of India is seen in villages-Mahatma Gandhi. According to the cencus of India in 2011, 68% of Population resides in rural areas. The present data tells that the working population of India will surpass working population of China since 2040. Sixteen Ministeries of Indian government have signed over the introduction of Skill Develpoment for effective function. Rural Develpoment Ministry has re-organazied its programme from the last experiences of 15 years in programme of Skill Development training in the shap of DDUGKY programme. Inspite of many government efforts it is not a less challenging to shape Skill India in to Trained India.
