DETERMINATION OF CRITERIA, INDICATORS AND LEVELS OF FUTURE PRESCHOOL TEACHERS’ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract
Introduction. Improvement and modernization the educational system in Ukraine in accordance with socio-economic, cultural transformations, global trends of globalization and integration, changing of ideological paradigm requires a highly qualified, competitive teacher. In this regard, the requirements for professional training of future preschool teachers are increasing. Future preschool teachers should ensure the harmonious development of children, creating the basis for their further education and upbringing. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to determine and substantiate the criteria, indicators and levels of future preschool teachers' professional competence formation in professional training. Results. It was analyzed the research of scientists who investigated the issue of coherence of the terms «criteria», «indicators» and «levels of professional competence formation», and also analyzed publicly available materials of dictionary publications. In the structure of the studied future preschool teachers' professional competence general, communicative and creative directions are highlighted as such qualitative signs of subject competence, which embody the most significant requirements of the process of educational activity in the field of training future preschool teachers. The following criteria are also highlighted: motivational-cognitive, communication-adaptive, innovation-technological and the levels of future preschool teachers' professional competence according to the corresponding types of criteria. Originality. Criteria, indicators and levels will be taken into account in the final design of the model of future preschool teachers' professional competence formation as well as relative quantitative meters of these elements will be used in the formation of final conclusions according to the study trajectory. Conclusions. The practical significance of considerations for optimizing the process of future preschool teachers' professional competence formation based on the results of experimental studies should take into account both the specific needs of the preschool environment and the peculiar features of the pedagogical environment in a higher educational institution. Higher educational institution has to form and develop the professional competencies of students.
