Abstract

Introduction. The article are studied the causes of the appearance of a number negative phenomena in the youth environment, in particular, manifestations of brutality, cruelty and bullying among secondary school students. Among the main factors that give rise to the above-mentioned deviations, the rudiments of traditional human-deficient, repressive pedagogy, the general moral and spiritual degradation of the human community, the gap between the education and upbringing of youth, the disadvantages of a large proportion of families, the poor material condition and the social status of the teacher, the extinction of the village and the destruction of the rural the community, the sharp stratification of society, poverty, the impact of the negative content of certain media, etc. The purpose. Find out the reasons of violence in the student environment, as well as possible measures to eliminate them. Methods. Method of system and structure analysis of scientific literature, synthesis, classification, systematization, generalization. Results. The need to search and introduce into the education system the forms, methods and means of improving the education of young people in a human-centered, human-oriented discourse was emphasized. The examples of the practice of child-centered pedagogy by Ukrainian classics of pedagogy are given. The possibility of using foreign experience in the education of young people, in particular, the concept of multicultural education, the concept of constructivism and the concept of happiness management are considered. Conclusion. Despite all the complexities of modern social life, it is necessary to find consistent with the requirements of the time forms, methods and means of overcoming the rudiments of human-deficient educational paradigm, which generates cruelty and immorality in the youth environment, and persistently implement humanitarian and existential approaches in the children and youth education system. The task of the state and society is to eliminate the factors that demoralize and distort young people: deep social stratification, decline and extinction of the village, poverty, low social and economic status of teachers, insufficient funding of the educational system. The problem of cruelty, bullying and delinquency among students requires further targeted research and development of methods to eliminate this negative and dangerous social phenomenon.
