Abstract

Nowadays, educational models, which are limited to teaching and learning compulsory (institutionally approved by instructions and regulations) curriculum content, are losing popularity. Modern scientific and methodological assumptions relate the effectivenative language education not only to the acquisition of cognitive knowledge, but also to the acquisition of learning strategies, to the development of thinking processes, and to the achievement of metacognition (viewed as knowledge of knowledge, developing not by itself, but through permanent and purposeful activities to master the skills of identifying, comparing, correlating, contrasting and summarizing information; competence of defending one's own judgment), i.e.related to the development of personalities. The markers of effectiveness are put on native-language educational paradigms that relate learning content accents and techniques to raisestudents as thinking and creative individuals.
