Abstract
Migration is not a uniform phenomenon. Due to development projects, community migrates together and rehabilitates together at the same place. But in the communal violence, victim communities fled away in a hurry to save their lives. They also had to rehabilitate according to their feasibility; where they felt safe and secure. But in this process, victim community lose their emotional-social connection and relationship at both side; inside the community and outside the community. Especially those outsiders which were their old villagers. This paper focuses on the association between forced migration due to communal violence in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli which faced communal riots in 2013. And women's rural employment issues. Displacement affect the social structure and position of the women. And they miss the connection with their native place in their everyday life. This research has conducted through the phenomenological approach; their situation would be analysed through their narratives with the feminist standpoint in resettlement colonies in Muzaffrnagar and Shamli in western Uttar Pradesh.
