Abstract

House 01 of the Comor family in the Lukomir village on Bjelasnica mountain is located on a rocky slope with a northern exposure. According to the current inhabitants of the Lukomir village, this is the oldest house in Lukomir, built in the second half of the 19th century. It should be borne in mind that today's Lukomir village (where this house is located) is, in fact, Gornji Lukomir, which until the 20th century was a Katun settlement (inhabited during the summer season), while the permanent settlement (Donji Lukomir) was located on a slope in the canyon of the Rakitnica river, on its right bank, about 300 m away from Gornji Lukomir. According to the disposition of its horizontal plans, the house belongs to the type of two-tract Bosnian chardaklia house which is developed in a vertical plan through the basement, ground floor and first floor (“čardak medju rogovima” – “chardak among the horns”). House 02 of the Comor family in the Lukomir village on Bjelasnica mountain is located on a gentle slope with a northwestern exposure. The house was built in the first half of the 20th century, as a twin-for two fraternal families. For this reason, the house in its external physiognomy does not follow the usual form of a chardaklia house for one family (such as the House 01 of the Comor family), but the form of a house with a “swallow roof”, as we encounter in the European Alpine space. According to the disposition of its horizontal plans, the house belongs to the type of two-tract Bosnian chardaklia house which is developed in a vertical plan through the basement, ground floor and first floor (“čardak među rogovima” - “chardak among the horns”).
