The level of perception on caesarean section delivery was higher in received health services (75.9%) of caesarean section delivery than in operative procedure (61.2%) and received information related statements (50.3%). There was statistically significant association between the level of perception with age (p=0.024), occupation of spouse (p=0.007), gravid status (p=less than0.001), types of caesarean section delivery (p=less than0.001), history of caesarean section delivery (less than0.001) and indication of caesarean section delivery (p=less than0.001). Conclusion: The study concluded that two third of postnatal mothers have positive perception. But still more focus is required in basic care including personal hygiene, ambulation and sexual health. Health education program need to be directed on caesarean section as a mode of delivery in antenatal clinic to correct those issues concerning poor perception on caesarean section delivery.
