Abstract
Chili is a fruit and plant member of the genus Capsicum. The fruit can be classified as either a vegetable or a spice, depending on how it is used. As a condiment, spicy chilies are very popular in Southeast Asia as a food flavor enhancer. In Indonesia, red chili plants have wide adaptability. Therefore this plant can generally be cultivated almost all regions of Indonesia, both in Indonesia lowlands and highlands to an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. Based on the Tukey Test results showed that the observation time significantly affects the number of species (F = 3.049; P = 0.0006) and the abundance of pollinator insect (F = 5,739; P = 0,0000). The pollinator insects begin to activate at 07.00 am and increase at 10.00.
