Abstract
— This research was conducted in the manufacturing industry that focuses on producing cosmetic products and household needs, one of which is shampoo. In 2021 the demand for shampoo production will increase. However, the production process time is too long, especially at the foam deposition stage, which lasts 97.4% of the 100% of total shampoo production process time so that it becomes an obstacle for the company because of the waste of activity. For this reason, to minimize waste or activities that do not add value to the company, it is necessary to do. This study uses value stream mapping (VSM) to determine the flow of material and information flow regarding the shampoo production process, followed by finding waste using the waste assessment model (WAM) and value stream mapping analysis tools (VALSAT) Fin
