Abstract
The present article seeks to examine the lack of law regarding animal rights from a legal and psychological perspective. Due to the problematic nature of this issue, the consequences of not enacting a law in this regard have been investigated. According to the provided documents, the method of collecting information is library. In this article, the question arises that if the law on animal rights is not approved, what will be the consequences for individuals, animals and society? The findings indicate that in Iran, unlike other countries, the title of animal abuse has not been criminalized and no punishment has been determined for it, and those who attempt animal abuse are mentally ill. And are dangerous to society. Finally, given the importance of animal rights in Islam, we see indifference to animal rights that leads to animal abuse and the lack of legislation to punish offenders, which is enacted with the passage of the Animal Rights Protection and Punishment Law as well as culture. Building and advancing principled methods, we can see to some extent the reduction of many unfortunate events now.
