The reasons for the prevalence of faith in astrology and fortune telling

The article presents the data of the author's pilot sociological research in order to identify hypothetical reasons for people's faith in astrology and fortune-telling. The author suggests a survey conducted on the social network Instagram in 2021 with an unrepresentative sample among different age groups, on the basis of which the reasons for believing in astrology and fortune-telling were derived.
