Abstract
The article deals with the issues of studying the influence of emotional burnout of employees of the correctional institution on the socio-psychological climate in the team. The content of the concept of "burnout syndrome" is revealed, the causes of its occurrence and the factors contributing to its formation among penitentiary system employees are analyzed.
