ANALYSIS OF PRACTICAL ABILITY IMPROVEMENT FOR TEACHERS BASED ON THE “EXCELLENCE PLAN”

Abstract
“Excellence plan” is aimed at having high quality and various types of engineering and technical talents who has strong innovation ability and can adapt to the development needs of the economical society,then service for the strategy of making the country stronger. At the same time, excellence plan requires the excellence plan colleges to build a team which contains high level full-time and part-time teachers, and the teachers should have certain engineering experience. This paper analyses the current situation of teachers' ability of engineering practice, and puts forward to analysis practical ability from the following several aspects: bringing into play subjective initiative, interacting practical experience among teachers, adjusting the practical teaching link, training teachers’ positions, and training double-tutors with the cooperation between school and enterprises.
