Essence of Nanosafety

Although nanotechnology has been recognized as an enabling technology, human and environmental exposure to nanomaterials is inevitable. As such, the need to ensure that the technology and its various applications are safe is paramount. The current concern on the risks of nanotechnology tends to specialize in the potential dangers of nanomaterials and nanoparticles. The ability to predict and mitigate potential health effects is crucial for sustainability of nanotechnology. This paper introduces the reader to safety in nanotechnology. Matthew N. O.
