This paper critically examines the contribution of Dhenkanal to Odia literature. Dhenkanal is a district of Odisha. This is situated in the middle of Odisha. It has a strong cultural and literary tradition. This paper Discus about the literary tradition in Dhenkanal into four stages. These are Ancient Age ancient times to the 15th century , Middle Age 16th-18th centuries , Renaissance 19th century and Modern Age 20th century . It will also discuss the contribution of various magazines and libraries to the development Odia literature in Dhenkanal.
