Mamta Kalia English Mamta Kalia Born November 2, 1940, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh is a pioneer of contemporary Hindi writing. MA in English Literature Mamta Kalia was born in 1940 in Mathura, the city of Lord Krishna. Mamta Kalia spread the magic of her pen in almost all genres of literature i.e. story, novel, poetry, drama, memoir and journalism. In her writings, she raised the personality of a woman fighting in everyday struggle.
