Abstract
Over the past few decades, physiotherapists have been encouraged to take an evidence- based approach for the academic and clinical practice of physiotherapy. According to the cf. Graham et al 2006, Research may be defined as a scientific systematic search of knowledge, which best generates new knowledge that possibly might be transferred into practice. In the past, there was less evidence based practice and research in physiotherapy which made it difficult for implementation of new techniques and strategies. Research is the only solution to improve and update the quality of treatment plan and implementation of new skills in academic as well as clinical practices.
