Abstract

According to modern concepts, a number of "universal" mechanisms are involved in the progression of chronic nephropathies. These include hemodynamic and metabolic disorders [1]. Among the latter, a special place is occupied by lipid disorders, which are recognized as one of the factors in the development of diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes mellitus due to the so-called "lipid toxicity". It has been shown that atorogenic lipid fractions - low-density lipid cholesterol (LDL-C) - in patients with DM contribute to endothelial dysfunction, cause mesangium infiltration by monocytes, macrophages that produce cytokines [2]. More and more data are described mainly in adult patients on the role of hyper dyslipidemia in chronic glomerulonephritis (GN), arterial hypertension [3]. However, there are few studies on the role of dyslipidemias. Meanwhile, the progression of DN, GN and other chronic nephropathy at any age can lead to the development of chronic renal failure (CRF), which emphasizes the relevance of studying this issue to improve nephroprotective therapy for CRF. Therefore, the problem of DN is not only medical, but also socioeconomic in nature.
