Abstract
In this article we address the accelerated transformation of social experiences linked to the development of information and communication technologies. Our objective is to understand how media narratives are related to changes in the audiovisual representation of violence and the repertoires of vindication. In this regard, it was found that the exponential increase in audiovisual production, whose proliferation is due to the massive use of smartphones, causes a blurring between fiction and reality. This made it possible to identify that these aspects are relevant to examine and understand hypermediatized societies.
