Sustainable Manufacturing A Primer

Sustainable manufacturing is manufacturing products through economically sound processes that minimize negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources. The goal of sustainable manufacturing is to minimize waste, maximize resource efficiency, and reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing. It is imperative that manufacturing processes should consider sustainability at every level, so that there will be comprehensive adherence to sustainability principles.
